For this blog post, Joyal Beauty sent me two products for review, the Organic Ultra Hyaluronic Moisturizing Serum and the Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum. I have used both products and I love them both. These are two interesting products because one is moisturizing and the other is hydrating, it would seem that they are the same because both words can be used interchangeably. While I used the products separately, I find it better when used together.


The Organic Ultra Hyaluronic Moisturizing Serum helps prevent moisture loss, therefore makes the skin softer and smoother. The most important ingredient in a moisturizer is hyaluronic acid or glycerin, which work by attracting water molecules to the skin. And this serum contains both hyaluronic acid and glycerin.

The Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum provides water to the upper layers of the skin, the epidermis, to make sure they are kept plump and smooth. It increases the water content of the skin, once the skin is hydrated it does become moist, hence hydrating products can often moisturizing your skin. However, a moisturizing product will keep the water content in the skin moist and prevent it from evaporating, it’s a like a seal on the skin to lock the moisturizer.

Since we need both hydrate and moisturize our skin, I find they work great together. They also work great with the Joyal Beauty’s Retinol Correcting Serum. I first apply the hydrating serum, then the moisturizing, and finally the retinol serum. These steps help my skin stay smooth, soft, and moist longer. In the morning, I wash my face then apply the serums while my face is damped before applying my sunscreen and makeup. At night, I wash my face while my face is still damp I apply my serums before bedtime. Joyal Beauty sends emails after purchasing your product containing directions on how to use the products.

Both products are clear and lightweight so it doesn't feel thick once you apply it. They both come with pump dispenser, which is great because just one pump is enough, that would two pumps daily. After applying the serums, my face is smooth and soft, without feeling sticky, pores clogged, or a thick layer of products on my face.
