Something I have been seeing a lot lately is shoulder pads, its a new trend in the fashion industry. Just when I thought certain styles would never come back they come back. Shoulder pads gives the shoulders a broader and less sloppy look. The style started back in the 1930s and has resurgence in the mainstream fashion in the 2010s. Now you may ask how is that relative to hijab, well there are actually few abaya designers who have put shoulder pads in their clothing line. Here are few pictures by Malaak (Facebook).
